-Bonjour!-

Am so excited. I finally went down to Alliance Francaise with Cass to sign up for French classes. It is an expensive indulgence as she was saying but hey! I've been procastinating for years to pick up a 3rd language. Don't ask me why I picked French..it is one of the most confusing language with both masculine and feminine gender. Nevertheless, I'm still looking forward to the lessons. Hm, this means I have even less time to do admin but oh well...time to relax...

Something funny happened at Alliance Francaise though. As Cass and I were strolling through the exhibition room on Level 2, this cute French boy of about 2 years came running into the room and rattled off in French a whole string of sentences. His exposition was punctuated by loud intonations and the amazing thing was after every 2 sentences he spoke, he would come running to my top and play with it! When his parents asked if my top was nice, he commented: yes it is very nice! Haha..it is this silvery pleated top that I was wearing. Hm, it must have reminded him of either a lampshade or curtains. Hee..
He is really adorable and kept on talking all the way till we exited the building. =) To think I was 'picked up' by a cute little French boy. Makes me want to have a kid. LOL...

After the registration for the class, we adjourned to Orchard for a cuppa. The tiramu and apple crumble were yummy. Truly, nothing to beat a cuppa and a nice dessert on a leisurely Saturday afternoon (me ignoring the stacks of marking at home). Also bought a nice top from one of my fave shops-Ness. Will wear it to church tomorrow for duty. Hee..

My birthday is drawing near once again. Perhaps nearer the date, I shall ask a few of my dear friends out just for a nice dinner. It's been a long time since all of us met up together. No doubt we are all busy with work and ministry but hey gals, I miss going out with all of you!
